Nasrid Palaces access: the essential comparison

The most important distinction between Alhambra tickets is whether they include the Nasrid Palaces. The Alhambra is not one single building: it includes the Alcazaba, the Generalife, the Palace of Charles V, the Partal, the museum, gardens, and the Nasrid Palaces.

Several independent tickets cover much of the wider complex without automatically including the Nasrid Palaces. This can be a good fit if your priority is the gardens, fortress, and other monument areas. However, it is not equivalent to a visit that specifically grants entry to the Nasrid Palaces.

If the palaces are central to your plans, choose a ticket or tour that explicitly includes them. Make this check before comparing guide format, group size, or other extras.

Night visits are not the same as daytime visits

An evening experience offers a distinct way to see the Alhambra, with a guided night tour centred on the Nasrid Palaces. It should not be treated as a later version of a full daytime circuit: this itinerary does not include the Generalife Gardens or the Alcazaba.

Choose a night tour if the evening format and Nasrid Palaces focus appeal to you. Choose a daytime ticket instead if seeing the gardens and fortress is an important part of your visit.

Some experiences extend the visit beyond the Alhambra. A guided tour can combine the monument with Granada neighbourhoods such as the Albaicín and Sacromonte. This format is designed for visitors who want a broader introduction to the city rather than an Alhambra-only visit.

A Granada city pass combines Alhambra and Nasrid Palaces access with entry to several other city attractions, including Granada Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Science Park, and other museums and monuments. It also includes specified city transport and tourist-train rides. Consider this type of pass when you are planning a multi-attraction itinerary; for an Alhambra-focused day, a dedicated ticket is usually simpler to compare.

• Nasrid Palaces: select a ticket that explicitly includes them if they are essential to your visit.
• Route: compare access to the Alcazaba, Generalife, gardens, Palace of Charles V, Partal, and museum rather than relying on the main ticket title.
