Tickets and attractions
What can you visit in London?
London’s available attractions cover historic landmarks, river sightseeing, skyline views, theatre and day trips. Start by choosing the kind of visit you want: individual entry for a specific landmark, a guided tour for extra context, a combined ticket for more than one attraction, or a pass covering several visits.
For historic London, compare the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge. For a different view of the city, choose the London Eye or a Thames River cruise. Madame Tussauds London and London theatre shows add further options to a city itinerary.
Historic landmarks and London icons
Tower of London
The Tower of London offers standard admission with access to the Crown Jewels Exhibition, as well as Beefeater-guided visits. An early-access option includes the opening ceremony and an audio guide app. Choose standard entry to focus on the site itself, or a guided or early-access format if those elements are part of your preferred visit.
Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral
Westminster Abbey can be visited independently, with an audio guide, or on an early-access guided tour. Some wider guided combinations also pair the Abbey with nearby London landmarks.
At St Paul’s Cathedral, standard entry includes access to the dome and crypt. Other options combine the cathedral with a Thames boat journey or a guided Westminster walking tour, making it possible to add river travel or a broader introduction to the area.
Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is available as standalone entry or as part of a guided London sightseeing tour. Select direct admission when Tower Bridge is your main stop, or a wider guided itinerary when you want to place it within a larger day of sightseeing.
Views, river cruises and combined sightseeing
London Eye
The London Eye offers standard entry, Fast Track options and a Champagne Experience. Combined tickets are also available with Madame Tussauds London or SEA LIFE London. These formats suit different plans: choose a single attraction ticket for one visit, or a combination when you intend to visit more than one included attraction.
Thames River cruises
Thames cruises provide several ways to see London from the water. Routes include circular sightseeing cruises near the London Eye, journeys between Westminster and Greenwich, and cruises between Westminster and Tower Bridge. Depending on the cruise, commentary may be provided live or by audio guide.
For an evening on the river, there are sunset and night cruise formats, including options with live music or guided commentary. A Thames boat cruise can also be paired with the IFS Cable Car.
Entertainment and themed experiences
Madame Tussauds London
Madame Tussauds London is available with standard admission or as a fast-track experience with additional features. Standard entry includes the Royal Balcony experience, Star Wars experience, Spirit of London ride and Chamber of Horrors.
London theatre shows
London theatre tickets are available for a range of productions, including The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Hamilton, Hadestown, Oliver!, Matilda and Witness for the Prosecution. Compare the same performance date and seating category when choosing between shows and ticket options.
Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio London
Harry Potter Studio tours combine Warner Bros. Studio Tour admission with different travel arrangements from London. Options include coach transfers from locations such as Victoria, King’s Cross and the British Museum, train travel from Euston, and a guided visit with roundtrip transport. A transport-only option is also available separately, so choose a format that clearly includes Studio Tour entry when admission is required.
London attraction passes and day trips
London attraction passes can work for itineraries with several planned visits. The London Pass covers a range of attractions and activities over a selected number of days and includes hop-on hop-off access. The Explorer Pass lets you select a set number of attractions, including the Tower of London. For a Greenwich-focused day, the Royal Museums Greenwich Day Pass covers the Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory, while the Queen’s House and National Maritime Museum can be visited separately.
For a trip beyond central London, organised day tours to Windsor Castle are available. Choose between shorter coach trips focused on Windsor and longer guided excursions that combine Windsor Castle with Stonehenge and Bath.
How to choose your London tickets and tours
- Choose individual entry when you want to focus on one landmark, museum-style attraction or show.
- Choose a guided visit for available formats such as Beefeater tours at the Tower of London, guided Westminster Abbey visits, selected London sightseeing tours or Harry Potter Studio tours with a live guide.
- Choose a combined ticket when you plan to visit the London Eye alongside Madame Tussauds London or SEA LIFE London, or add a boat journey to St Paul’s Cathedral.
- Choose a river cruise based on the route and time of day, from central sightseeing journeys to Greenwich routes and evening cruises.
- Choose an attraction pass when your itinerary includes several eligible sights over one or more days.
London rewards a plan built around areas and themes: historic landmarks, riverside sights, a theatre performance, or a day beyond the city centre. Grouping nearby visits and allowing time for travel between them can help shape a more balanced itinerary.
