What to visit in Rome
Rome offers several ways to plan your sightseeing, from self-guided entry with an audio guide to live tours, small-group visits and combination tickets. Use the attraction pages below to compare the main formats and choose the visit that fits your itinerary.
Vatican Museums
Vatican Museums tickets include options for fast-track entry to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, as well as guided tours with a live guide. Small-group visits are also available. Combination options can add St. Peter’s Basilica, another Rome attraction or a hop-on hop-off bus tour.
If you want to see more in one booking, some combinations pair the Vatican Museums with St. Peter’s Basilica or one additional attraction such as the Pantheon or Colosseum.
Colosseum
Colosseum tickets range from independent visits with an audio guide or multimedia presentation to guided tours with a live guide. Some options include the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, while others add access to the Arena Floor or Mamertine Prison.
You can also choose a combination ticket with the Vatican Museums or explore ancient Rome through a virtual reality experience.
St. Peter’s Basilica
St. Peter’s Basilica can be visited independently with an audio guide or through a guided tour. Other formats add access to the Dome or Vatican Grottoes, including tours that cover the papal tombs. Choose between self-guided audio commentary, escorted entry and live-guided visits depending on how you want to explore the basilica.
Borghese Gallery
Borghese Gallery tickets include reserved entry for an independent visit, guided tours, small-group tours and private tours. Some offers combine gallery entry with a sightseeing bus tour of Rome, making it possible to pair the museum visit with a broader city activity.
Rome Pantheon
Pantheon tickets include fast-track entry with a digital or official audio guide, as well as guided tours with a live guide. Combination experiences can pair the Pantheon with Castel Sant’Angelo or other Rome highlights.
For a different format, some options add a virtual reality experience, including a 3D experience connected with Navona Square.
Castel Sant’Angelo
Castel Sant’Angelo tickets range from independent entry with an audio guide to guided tours with a live guide. Combination options can include the Pantheon, another Rome attraction or a boat tour. Some visits also provide access to Passetto di Borgo.
Fiumicino Airport transfers
Fiumicino Airport transfer options include the Leonardo Express train, shuttle buses and shared minivans. Routes connect the airport with Rome Termini, the Vatican or Rome hotels, while some services are available as one-way or round-trip transfers.
Choose the format according to your destination in Rome: train and bus services connect with central Rome, while shared minivan transfers can take you directly to or from a hotel.
